United Bank Welcomes Megan Lahay to Lending Team

United Bank is thrilled to announce a recent addition to its esteemed team, Megan Lahay, who joins as Vice President Commercial Lender. With over 16 years of extensive experience in the banking industry, Lahay brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to customer relationships and financial excellence.

Before her tenure at United Bank, Lahay served in key roles at other prominent financial institutions in the region, including as SVP Treasury Management Officer at Citizens Bank and SVP Commercial Lender at Signature Bank of Arkansas. Her track record of success in these positions speaks volumes about her ability to drive growth, maintain business portfolios, and provide exceptional customer service.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Lahay is actively involved in various local organizations, including the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA, Washington County Teen Leadership, the Children's Safety Center of Washington County, and Leadership Fayetteville. She is deeply passionate about giving back to the community and has taken on leadership roles in several initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering others.

Lahay, a native of Northwest Arkansas, graduated with a Bachelor of Finance and General Studies from Columbia College in Missouri, attended the Commercial and Consumer Lending Schools in Little Rock, and graduated the Leadership Arkansas Class XVI in 2022 and the Leadership Fayetteville Class XXXI in 2018. She enjoys cheering on her two children in their various sports activities, supporting Razorback sports, fishing with her family, and spending time outdoors, particularly boating on Beaver Lake.
