Sams brings over two decades of extensive experience in the banking industry, having held various roles in retail banking, mortgage lending, consumer lending, and most recently as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending at First Security Bank in Fayetteville. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting management, Sams is known for his commitment to excellence and creativity in finding tailored strategies for business growth.

When asked about his favorite aspect of banking, Sams stated, “I enjoy continuously learning about different industries and coming up with innovative solutions to take their business to the next level.” Sams currently serves as the treasurer for the Mount Sequoyah Board of Trustees and likes spending time outdoors, specifically golfing, hunting, and fishing.
