United Bank is pleased to announce that Sheri Dewitt has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Secondary Market Operations Manager/Underwriter. 

Dewitt joined United Bank in 2021 as Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Underwriter. Before joining United Bank, she worked for FirstTrust Home Loans. Before joining the lending industry, she worked for Tyson Foods for 30 years in IT. Sheri was in applications development and various other IT roles over the years. She last served as IT Director for Program Management before transitioning to the lending industry.

“Since joining United Bank, Sheri has done an exemplary job in the Bank's mortgage department,” said Nathan Gairhan, President & CEO. “She has provided consistency and structure, with an emphasis on accuracy, to the many responsibilities that are performed in the department. She has also been a great mentor and role model for the newer associates that have joined the team.”

Dewitt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems & Quantitative Analysis from the University of Arkansas.
